A significant increase into the research and development of daily disposable contact lenses over the past decade has seen a large increase in the number of products available. This has also resulted in a considerable decrease in the cost of daily contact lenses. Normally targeted towards the social or occasional wearer a substantial price drop has enable the regular wearer to enjoy the advantages of the daily lens. The lenses in the range are however great lenses with very satisfied wearers. These lenses are targeted towards patients who have issues with monthly contact lenses drying out or becoming uncomfortable before the 30 days of use. They do require cleaning and storing on a daily basis, however in some situations patients may be able to wear monthly lenses as an extended wear option where they sleep in the lenses for a number of days.
